Sci-Fi Crossover 2002 "Federation & Empire?"
Once again, all your favorite starships
from movies and TV are thrown together in the Sci-Fi Crossover Universe do
do battle. In the 2002 battle, A large fleet of ships from the Star
Trek Federation must battle Star Destroyers from Star Wars for the control
of space around a very valuable asteroid (what exactly was so valuable
about that asteroid was not know, but one group kept on talking about
wookies...)
|
|
The Set Up:
Both sides set up on the long sides of the table, a single asteroid is placed in the middle, about 1/3 of the table length away from one of the short edges, moving about 3" per turn (no real purpose here other than a reason why the ships are battling it out.) Full Thrust rules are used with the revisions from Fleet Books 1 and 2.

The GenCon 2002 Results:
The Imperial fleets tried different tactics and got different results. At times the Star Destoyers looked to be getting the better of things, only to take a few hard hits and the momentum changed. |
